From 48 to 65% in 9 months, we are competing at a higher grade, we have
even won a class. I remember after much consideration and analysis
saying that my horse would never do a good free walk on a long rein; he
just wasn't built for it. One of the 8's we have been awarded in a test
was for this movement. Not only has my horse improved in impulsion,
suppleness, concentration, and obedience but my riding has too,
effectiveness, position, and confidence. The best part is that we are doing
pretty well together too.
We may not have trophies and rugs but to me each achievement means the
world. I am living my dream...
