Beaujolais DHU

Beaujolais is the first foal of Sjulliette DHU born in NZ. She is a 100% warmblood  filly, by the New Zealand stud Anamour (Hann). 

At the Horse Of the year Show, Hastings, 2008, she became fourth in the breeders' class of Filly as a Potential Broodmare.

Beaujolais has a stunning upward movement, and a very strong character. She has the strong build of her dam and she easily shows her elevated trot and flying changes seem to be natural to her. She leaves the option open to breed 100% warmblood horses.

She is a 100% warmblood by Anamour, out of our imported KWPN mare (Sjulliette, see further this site) by Moustafa.
Moustafa (by Orthos, Westfalen) was bred and trained in the Netherlands, and exported as a four year old to the United States, where he now jumps at Grand Prix level.
Beaujolais is a promising multiple purpose horse. She has extraordinary movement for dressage and easy flying changes, and from her dams side she should have the ability to scale any fence she sees.
Having a very big hearted disposition, she is always curious to everything you do and when taken out to the beach, she jumps any log which her mum jumps first. She should grow into 16.2 hh which will make her suitable size for almost everyone.
She is marked perfectly with 4 equally sized white socks and a little mark on her face. With the dark colour of her coat she will make a stunning presentation entering into the arena.
