Sjulliette was bred by Dutch Horses Unlimited from a mare by Ekstein, by a stallion Oestafa, which is by Orthos. Oestafa was sold to the US in 2001, where he now jumps at Grand Prix level.

Sjulliette is an extremely strong horse, with a very powerful forward movement. Sjulliette has a strong show jumping background, and via Ekstein she has the high performance stallions Lucky Boy xx and Joost in her pedigree. She also holds the famous stallion Le Mexico.

Sjulliette was brought to New Zealand to be able to breed purebred Dutch Warmbloods. In 2006 she had her first NZ foal from Anamour, Beajolais. In 2007 her second foal (Charisma) was a filly by Prestige.

Sjulliette has been ridden in dressage and jumping, and she has proven to be very powerful with a beautiful bascule and a strong take off.
