Broodmares

Dutch Horses Unlimited has a number of high quality broodmares, to produce top quality horses to serve the NZ equestrian community.
The young horses delivered by these predominantly imported mares, or mares bred from imported semen, will be a real asset to New Zealand riders.
New Zealand breeders, who wish to acquire breeding stock meeting high standards, can choose to buy fillies from these mares, and deliver their own top quality horses to the NZ equestrian community.

Waola was purchased by Dutch Horses Unlimited in 2004 from her breeder, H.H.M. Deneer at Elsendorp in the Netherlands, as a two year old. Waola has been raised in the Netherlands until she was three years old, before she was brought into New Zealand.

At the Horse of the Year Show, Hastings, 2008 she became 4th in the breeders class of 4Yrs and over Mare For Breeding Performance Horses, and 3rd in the class of 4Yr and Over Performance Bred Horses For Dressage/Riding.

Waola has produced three foals (one by Appleton, one by Concorde and one by Larino), and a foal from Appleton is expected by the end of September 2012

Sjulliette was bred in the Netherlands by Dutch Horses Unlimited from a mare by Ekstein, by a stallion Oestafa, which is by Orthos. Oestafa was sold to the US in 2001, where he now jumps at Grand Prix level.

Sjulliette is an extremely strong horse, with a very powerful forward movement. Sjulliette has a strong show jumping background, and via Ekstein she has the high performance stallions Lucky Boy xx and Joost in her pedigree. She also holds the famous stallion Le Mexico.

Sjulliette has produced five foals (one by Anamour, one by Prestige, one by Larino and two by Appleton).

D'Accord DHU is by the famous Concorde out of Waola DHU (Concorde x Matterhorn x Indoctro). She was born in 2008 and she will need to grow for another year before she will be mated.

As an 18 month old she placed second at the HOY 2010 in the breeders classes.

Her sire Concorde is still one of the highest rating stallions in the Royal Dutch Sporthorse studbook, and her bloodline with Matterhorn, Nimmerdor and Indoctro in it will make her a superb show-jumping broodmare.

As a foal, she already drew the attention of many visitors, because of her movement.
